Treatment of Stroke

This article reviewed that general concern of stroke including incidence, types, rehabilitation treatment, and concept of brain plasticity.
Incidence of stroke is on an increasing trend according to increasing geriatric population. The most common age of onset was 60s only 10 years ago but it become common at 30s to 40s aged who were actively working in the society. Therefore it is too important to emphasize checking and elimination of risk factors for preventing recurrence because recurrence rate which is 20% within 5years after onset is relatively high. And most of them who were saved life have to receive early special rehabilitation treatment for maximization of recovery. It is better treat them specifically according to location of lesion due to different presentation of symptoms and disabilities.
And also we should apply patients special therapy whit keeping in mind of concept of brain plasticity.
